Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of PODS (inventory bins) at Amazon sites to enhance automation. This role involves physical activity, standing, and walking all day. You will use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly, perform light housekeeping tasks, and assist with inventory. Expect to be on your feet throughout the workday and lift objects as needed.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of PODS (inventory bins).
Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
Stand and walk throughout the day, with no time to sit.
Lift and move objects as required.
Assist with inventory management.
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
Document errors and communicate effectively.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with rivet guns.
Experience using power tools and hand tools.
Capability to lift boxes and perform heavy lifting.
Experience in mechanical assembly.
Familiarity with production and construction processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to document errors accurately.
Effective communication skills.
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs regularly.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
