Link Solutions is seeking a Radio Maintenance Technician to join our team at Detroit Arsenal, MI.
Must be a US Citizen
Requires a DoD Secret Clearance
Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Radio Maintenance Technician will oversee and optimize the performance and functionality of radio systems and infrastructure supporting the Southeast Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) at Detroit Arsenal, MI. Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Operate, maintain, inspect, and repair tactical microwave equipment, as well as analog and digital trunked communications systems.
Maintain towers and antennas following the American National Standard Institute (ANSI)/TIA-222-G (Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Support Systems).
Conduct tower and antenna inspections as recommended by current ANSI/TIA-222-G guidelines.
Clear and correct lighting outages and system outage/degradation maintenance.
Ensure assigned tickets are addressed with government clients.
Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement.

Must be a US Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (will sponsor the right candidate).
Five (5+) years experience in telecommunications infrastructure, facility design, and installation.
Knowledge and experience with Portable Radio Communications Test sets, Motorola Radio Service Software, and other diagnostic tools.
Knowledge and experience of BICSI rules, regulations, and standards.
Experience with MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry standards and practices.
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
