Labcorp Payroll Coordinator - “Home-based role” - Life-science Leader in Warsaw, Poland

Job Title : Payroll Coordinator, EMEA

Position Type: Fixed term contract for 12 months/ Direct hire

Location: Poland / fully remote

Main responsibilities:

  • The Payroll Coordinator will provide full functional payroll support for the allocated EMEA payrolls, ensuring they are processed accurately and on time.

  • The Payroll Coordinator will ensure processing, payments and reporting deadlines are being met in a timely and accurate manner.

  • The Payroll Coordinator will have a good understanding of the statutory rules and regulations within their assigned EMEA countries, and they will ensure these are being adhered to, in order to achieve compliance with local legislation.

  • Within this role, the Payroll Coordinator will also provide support to the Team Leader or the Payroll Manager to promote and implement process excellence and project initiatives where possible.

  • The Payroll Coordinator will support payroll documentation updates in relation to the global vendor change project, under the direction of the Global Payroll Leaders. This may include the following activities:

  • update SOX narratives and controls documentation based on process and system changes;

  • update User Guides based on process and system changes;

  • update and publish documents based on the project timeline, developed in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Team;

  • draft employee related communications to communicate changes to employees, assist in developing decks in support of communications to internal COE’s, as well as go live communications based on the project timeline.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience working in a payroll environment

  • Previous experience with international Payroll

  • Adhere to a pro-active approach, with the ability to problem solve, and interact professionally with internal and external clients to meet everyone’s needs in an effective and timely manner

  • Demonstrate ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with a global team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; prior experience in writing payroll process documentation will be considered a plus.

  • Experience working with large amounts of data.
