Retail Team Lead - Kirkwood Highway
Pay Rate: \$16.50 per hour
POSITIONSUMMARY: TheTeam Leadoversees and participates inallday-to daystore activitiesincludingsafety compliance,frontendand backroomoversight of thestore.The Team Leadassists with functions relatedto sales, production and customer serviceandisa keyholder responsibleforstoreopening and closingactivities as directed bytheStore Manager and/orAssistant Manager.This position is a member of theManagement SupportTeam.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASICDUTIES:
- Complies with allorganizationpolicies and procedures.
- Followssafety policies and procedures ensuring maximum security and protection of all customers, team members,and company assets.
- Engageswith all consumers, community groups, co-workersto promote the achievement of the company mission.Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintainsstrict confidentiality of all sensitive information concerningthe organization,consumers and/or employees.
- Assists with achieving100% or more of weekly revenueand productiongoals through team member training and production focusefforts.
- HandlesPoint of Saleand Accounting functions and transactions; responsible for store cash funds,issuingand counting down registers, bank deposits,and overages/shortages.
- Performs necessary record keeping, daily reports, and reporting of money and salestoappropriate departmentpersonnelwithin Goodwillof Delaware & Delaware County.
- Responsible to assist with the fulfillment of all production functionsand individual productivity ofProductionAssociate team members.
- Assists withtrainingof new retail team members, as assigned,toensurethatthe highest levelof customer service is offered to all.
- Advisesmanagement staff of all progress, problems, and new development on a regular basis.
- Assumesroleofmanageron duty and supervises team members on shift.
- Conducts quality checks on carts and Z-racks.
- Responsible forstoreopeningandclosing activities.
- Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuringthat the store isclean, neat, orderlyinappearance.
- Performs all other job duties as assigned.
