Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on custom dental industry equipment .
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
Maintain, calibrate, and optimize servo motors, PLCs, VFDs, and other automation components .
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety standards.
Utilize CNC maintenance skills to repair motion control systems, spindles, drives, and other high-precision components.
Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and vendors to troubleshoot and enhance machine performance.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical, and safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or logs .
Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment and system upgrades.
Work in cleanroom environments when required, following proper protocols to maintain contamination control standards.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems and automation .
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams .
Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical components (PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, relays, power supplies, etc.).
Experience with CNC machines, automation systems, and high-precision manufacturing equipment preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems is a plus.
Familiarity with multi-meter usage, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools .
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to solve complex problems efficiently.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for documentation and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
An associate degree in a related field is a plus but not required.
Electrical certification or equivalent technical training preferred.

Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
$27.50 - $41.20 per hour
