Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
Looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector for both night and day shifts. The ideal candidate must have over 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting. This role involves quality testing and inspections of products, documentation (logging results, audits, etc.), and the use of measuring equipment to properly complete QC checks. The candidate will use calipers, understand blueprints, remove defective products, and approve finished products before they are sent to the shipping/receiving department. This position requires monitoring every stage of the production line and being very involved in the process.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality testing and inspections of products
Document results, perform audits, and maintain accurate records
Use calipers and other measuring equipment to complete QC checks
Read and understand blueprints
Remove defective products and approve finished products
Monitor every stage of the production line
Walk the production lines constantly and be actively involved in the process
Essential Skills
2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing/production setting
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Experience using calipers and micrometers
Proficiency with tape measures
Strong documentation and computer skills
Ability to work well in a team setting and take initiative
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
Our Client is a manufacturing plant specializing in extruded PVC plastic products for the window industry. The facility can be loud due to machinery and is not temperature controlled. The dress code includes jeans, a plain shirt, steel toe boots/shoes, and safety glasses. Ear plugs are provided and must be worn due to the noise created by the machinery.
Night shift hours are Sunday 12:00am to Monday 6:00am and Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 6:00am.
Day shift hours are 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $22.35/hr.
