If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative for Orthopaedics to join our team and drive sales in the field of Joint Reconstruction within the Swiss German Area. In this vital role, you will identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities while executing our Joint Reconstruction strategy to achieve impressive sales growth. Tasks & Responsibilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Takes full ownership of the territory and assigned accounts and meets defined targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with clinical & non-clinical professionals, including Orthopedics and Trauma surgeons, nurses, operating management, professional associations, and purchasing departments though continuous support
Builds and cultivates meaningful relationships with customers, regional KOLs, decision makers and other external/internal partners to shape potential new business areas
Closely collaborates with all J&J internal resources, including service and solutions team, strategic account and business development teams as well as other franchises for defining new business models
Coordinates the involvement of all internal partners, including customer service, supply chain, marketing & strategic capabilities to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Actively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis to identify actionable insights to improve results and accelerate conversions.
Translates insights into actions that challenge the status quo and that reinforce our competitive advantage.
Manages contracting, pricing and tendering processes in the assigned accounts
Lead offer/project negotiation, resulting in timely contract closure
Ability to lead and link One MedTech capabilities to deliver business value beyond products
Dares to do things differently aligned with Credo-based decision-making
Phenomenal teammate that can steer a group of individuals without formal authority
Be responsible for annual bottom-up business plan
Maintain detailed knowledge of Medical Devices products, competitive products and have in-depth understanding of the J&J offering in the customer environment
Strategically acquires new business opportunities in the field of Joint Reconstruction including J&J Services & Solutions offering to shape the market in close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders
Attends sales meetings and industry trade shows to promote and support the visibility around the company’s solution
Qualifications
Language Skills: German (fluent) & English – required
Valid driving license and living in the specified area-required
Demonstrates product knowledge in the field of Joint Reconstruction -preferred
Brings 2+ years of experience in the field of Orthopedics clinical / OR sales-preferred
Has a strong external network and knowledge about the Swiss Trauma and Orthopedic market-preferred
Has demonstrated the ability to interact meaningfully and successfully with surgeons Ability to work effectively with tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneForce, Hubble, etc.
Has demonstrated strong communication and influential skills and being a high-impact presenter
